The introduction of cheap flights has enabled us all to enjoy holidays abroad, and has been a welcome change from the “traditional” British holiday that so many of us remember from our childhood. The obvious downside to the increased air traffic is an increase in pollution and consumption of fossil fuels. Flying itself has become routine, and the whole experience can be tedious, stressful and not much fun. We’re certainly not suggesting that anyone should give up taking holidays abroad. We’re offering an alternative, which is a British holiday with a difference.
Our tipi is located in the centre of the Llŷn peninsula, and at 400ft above sea level commands stunning views of Cardigan Bay and the Irish Sea. It’s ideal for a family or group of friends who want to “get away from it all”. The tipi is in a quiet, sheltered spot, away from other visitors, so our guests can do whatever they like without being disturbed.
Kids will enjoy helping us take care of the free-range chickens and pigs, and collecting eggs for breakfast. It’s the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy a slower pace of life.
On the other hand, there’s plenty to do here if you want to. We’re surrounded by the sea, so there’s stunning beaches and all kinds of water sports on your doorstep. If you want nightlife, there’s pubs, clubs and restaurants in the nearby bustling holiday town of Abersoch.
